Smoke or Fire Damage
Although the cleaning and ozoning of the fur, suede and leather apparel will take out any and all fire and smoke damage. In some extreme cases depending on the extent of the smoke damage, we may not totally get the smell of the smoke out of the fur, suede, and leather apparel, but this is in extreme cases. We are usually 90% successful in the removal of smoke odor in skins.

Water Damage
If fur comes in contact with water, and the water is soaked into the skins, it can damage the skin.  The skins can rot, turn stiff, and deteriorate. The other factor with water-damaged furs is the possibility of shrinkage, depending on how much water damage is in the skins or the fur. With Leather and Suede, depending on the extent of the damage, there can be shrinkage, color loss, and stiffness to the skins.

Mildew Damage
Fur, if in contact with mildew can cause the skins to rot, and in some cases to cause the skins to dry out or deteriorate.  The deterioration of the skins may not be noticeable until after the cleaning process. Mildew in suede and leather can cause shrinkage, color damage, and damage to the skins that may not be noticeable until after the cleaning process.
